Http to Https -Ranking Factor Google Update

In order to have a secure connection to Google search, Gmail and Google drive, Google  always invest bulk amount of money to implement industry leading security like strong HTTPS encryption by default that triggered the securities measures automatically.

Besides our own stuff we always make sure that the websites that people are accessing from Google are secure and our resources are fully functioning to prevent and fix security breaches on their sites.
Nowadays many webmasters have adopted the HTTPS which is hopeful and we want to go even further and that is why a few month age at Google I/O we called for “HTTPS everywhere” on the web.
On the basis of the above consideration we have run several tests to check whether sites use safe, encrypted connections as a signal in our search ranking algorithms. Our tests are giving us positive result and we are planning to use Https as a ranking signal. Comparing to high quality content, HTTPS is a lightweight ranking signal and affecting less than 1% of global quires. To keep everything secure on web we would like to encourage all webmasters vendors to switch from HTTP to HTTPS and we will continue to strengthen it.

TLS adaptation can be made easier and common mistakes can be avoided by considering the following basic tips:
·                     Advised is to utilize 2048-bit key certificates
·                     Use relative URLs for resources that reside on the same secure domain
·                     Remember to utilize protocol concerned URLs for all other domains
·                     Never block your HTTPS site from crawling using robots.txt

·                     Neglect the No index attribute and always allow your home page for search engines.
